film & content producer
STEPHANIE DZICZEK
This will tell you I've worked in advertising and film.
I drove cross-country from Yale and started at the original William Morris Agency, mailroom and all. I was hired away by a film producer who had 60 projects in development, including The Wolf of Wall Street, and I hustled for three years.
But I got tired of waiting for movies to be made. I wanted to be the maker. So I jumped to advertising.
I've shot in 12 foreign countries and 6 US states with celebrities and athletes. I've made animation, long-form scripted, Spanish-language, social, still, interactive, multi-million dollar and ultra-low budget pieces seen in over 20 global markets. I even made a movie in my spare time for the cost of a compact car.
At Chiat\Day I made work for Gatorade, Netflix, Airbnb, Miller Lite, Nissan, Crate & Barrel, Pepsi, Infiniti, and the GRAMMYs, and we won some awards.
At Saatchi, I worked on Toyota Global Olympics supporting mobility for all. I got to collect our Gold Lion in Cannes, and that's about as good as it gets.
This will tell you a little more.
Born in Kentucky, adopted by Los Angeles.
Things I appreciate: thoughtful design, unscheduled blocks of time.
Skills learned from YouTube: how to cut a mango and how to clean a French press efficiently
Everything on my Kindle is non-fiction; everything in my Netflix queue is the opposite.
I give a damn good wedding speech, just give me 24 hours notice.
My hobby is enjoying local arts and culture, though I did buy a banjo once.
